Winners receive a prize equal to double their registration fee, and finalists receive their registration fee back in prizes. Matches: 1 game to 11 win by 2. Register on your own — we rank everyone by DUPR and build balanced divisions and teams for you. **How it works** - Players are sorted by DUPR into competitions of 8 men + 8 women, so you're matched at your level. - 1-8 ranked by dupr in one competition 9-16 in the second - Each competition = 4 balanced teams (2 men + 2 women), seeded by inverse DUPR pairing. The top two teams from the **regular season** win cash prizes based on final standings. You'll play **2 matches per week** on Tuesday evenings at **Lakeside Park Club**, facing different opponents each week. Matches consist of 3 games to 11 (win by 2), with ranking points awarded per game — so every game matters, even in a loss. **50+ Doubles Moneyball — No Partner Needed** Participants register as individuals and play a non-fixed-partner round robin. The results determine the ordering for a school-yard-style draft, which forms the teams for a mixed bracket playoff. ### Format - **Stage 1 — Gender Pools:** 2 pools of 9 (per gender), 8-game round robin, games to 11, win by 2 - **Stage 2 — The Draft:** All 18 mixed teams are formed school-yard style and ranked 1–18. Women draft in the order of their pool-play rankings, each choosing her partner from the qualifying men. - **Stage 3 — Mixed Playoffs:** - **Winners bracket:** The top 10 teams (seeded by the woman's ranking) play a single-elimination bracket. - **Consolation bracket:** The remaining 8 teams play a single-elimination bracket. - Bracket games: 1 game to 15, win by 2.
